Banners filled the hallways with encouraging signs like “No Place for Hate” and “We are all different, but we all matter.” On Friday, January 20, 2023, Edward Williams students participated in several classroom activities to learn about the No Place for Hate initiative.

The Edward Williams School PTA partnered with Danny’s Cycles and Westchester Cycle Club to provide free bicycles and helmets to students on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Over 50 bikes and helmets were available for students to take home.  

Student council election 2022

While people across the country voted, Edward Williams School scholars participated in their own elections. Students exercised their civic duties by voting for their peers in the 2022 Student Council Elections on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  The candidates created campaign videos and had a debate with their respective running mates.

Parents came out to Edward Williams School meet & greet to eagerly support their bright young scholars on Thursday, September 29, 2022. Parent attendance was high, and they were able to meet their children's teachers, and the PTA and ask any questions that they had. Parents and students were also provided with snacks and drinks.

This year Edward Williams School honored their dad's by presenting them with wellness care packages.  The care packages included herbal tea, Emergen-C, hand sanitizer, Halls cough drops, hand warmers, an apple, a bottle of water, and a positive affirmation to brighten Dad's Day. These wellness care packages show how much Edward Williams School cares about their students' Dad's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
